Storage Unit Cleanouts in Hapeville
Tired of paying rent on a unit full of things you stopped using years ago? We meet you at the facility, sort out what goes home with you, haul the rest away and leave the unit swept so you can close it out.

When a Storage Unit Cleanout Makes Sense
Most units start as a short-term fix. A move, a downsize, a parent's estate. Then the monthly bill keeps coming and nobody wants to spend a weekend in a hot metal box going through boxes. That's where we come in.
We do the lifting, the sorting help and the hauling. You tell us what stays and what goes. If a few things need to come back to your home, we can set them aside so you take them with you. Everything else leaves on our truck the same visit.
After the job, we check back with you. Facilities often do a walk-through before they release your deposit or stop billing, and we want to know the unit passed. If something got missed, we come back for it.
What the Cleanout Includes
Loading every item
Boxes, furniture, mattresses, old tools, holiday decorations, exercise gear. Our crew carries it out and loads it. You don't lift a thing.
Sorting with you on site
We pull items into keep, donate and haul piles as we go. If you can't be there, we can work from a list or a phone call while we're at the unit.
Donation and recycling where we can
Usable furniture and household goods go to donation when they're in shape for it. Metal and cardboard get recycled. The rest goes to the proper disposal site.
Sweep-out at the end
Facilities want the floor clear and broom clean. We sweep it out and pick up loose packing material so the unit is ready for the manager's check.
A follow-up call
A few days later we check in to make sure the facility signed off. We'll also remind you to return the gate card and get your lock off, two things people often forget.

Signs It's Time to Clear Out Your Unit
- You've lost track of what's in there
- A year without opening the door usually means most of it can leave. We'll help you pick out the handful of things worth holding onto.
- Another rent increase arrived
- Facilities tend to raise prices on renters who stay long. Once the monthly bill is more than the contents are worth, it's time to let go.
- Dampness or bugs found their way in
- Humid Georgia summers can leave boxes in a sealed unit mildewed or full of pests. Ruined cardboard and upholstered furniture rarely deserve saving.
- You inherited a unit after an estate or move
- Emptying a relative's unit is tough on the body and on the heart. We take on the heavy lifting so you can spend your time on the keepsakes.
- The facility gave you a deadline
- A closing facility, a lien notice or a date from the manager means the unit has to be empty by a certain day. Call early and we'll plan around it.
How the Job Goes
- 1
Free on-site estimate
We look at the unit with you, or you send us the size and what's inside by phone. You get upfront pricing with no hidden fees before we start.
- 2
Pick a day
Same-day and next-day service available, depending on the schedule. We'll confirm the facility's hours and any rules about truck access or loading bays.
- 3
Load, sort and sweep
Our crew empties the unit, keeps your set-aside items separate and sweeps the floor. Most standard units take a single visit.
- 4
We check back
After you turn in the unit, we call to make sure the facility released it without issues. If anything was left behind, we fix it.
What Moves the Price
Price comes down mostly to how much space your things take up on our truck. We give you that number after we see the load, and it doesn't change unless you add more. A few other things play into it.
- Unit size and how full it is
- A half-full small unit costs less than a packed large one. Volume is the biggest driver.
- Heavy or bulky items
- Pianos, safes, sleeper sofas and appliances take more crew time and room. Mattresses and some electronics also carry disposal fees.
- Access at the facility
- A ground-floor drive-up unit is quick. An upstairs interior unit with a long hallway and a shared elevator takes longer.
- How much sorting you want
- If we're pulling out keepsakes and separating donations as we go, that adds time. A straight haul-everything job moves faster.
Storage Unit Cleanout Questions
- Do I have to meet you at the facility?
- Not necessarily. Lots of facilities will let us in once you add us to the account or meet us at the gate a single time. You can also stay on the phone while we work and say what to keep. Talk to the manager ahead of time so the crew gets in.
- Can you deliver a few things to my house?
- Yes. We'll keep the items you're holding onto separate and load them for you. Tell us at the estimate how much is going home so we save room on the truck.
- Could the facility fine me for a dirty unit?
- Some will. So before we go, we sweep the unit and gather up stray trash. After you hand it back, we call to confirm no cleaning fee showed up.
- Is there anything you won't haul?
- Paint thinners, fuel, chemicals and other hazardous materials can't go on our truck. If we find any in the unit, we'll show you so you can take them to a proper drop-off.
- Are you actually based around here?
- We are. We've been in business since 2021, we're licensed and insured, and customers have left over 1,200 Google reviews. We clear units at facilities in Hapeville, East Point, College Park, Forest Park and nearby.
