Appliance Removal in Hapeville
Old fridge in the garage? Washer that quit mid-cycle? We carry it out of your home, load it on our truck and take it where it belongs. You get a clear price before we lift anything, and we check back with you after the job.

When It's Time to Get the Old One Out
Appliances are heavy, awkward and full of things that shouldn't go in a landfill. A fridge can weigh a few hundred pounds and still have refrigerant in its lines. A water heater often has sediment and water sitting in the bottom. Most people don't have the truck, the dolly or the extra hands to move them safely.
That's the work we do. We take single pieces or a whole kitchen's worth, from the basement, the garage, the backyard or the curb. We've been doing it since 2021, and we're licensed and insured, so if a door frame gets bumped, it's on us to make it right.
After we leave, we call you. We ask if everything looks right and tell you what to watch for where the appliance used to sit, like a capped water line or a damp spot under an old washer.

What Our Appliance Removal Covers
- 01
Fridges and freezers
Standard fridges, side-by-sides, mini fridges and chest freezers. They ride upright on our truck and go to sites that capture the refrigerant rather than dumping it.
- 02
Washing machines and dryers
We slide them out, empty any water left in the drum and hose, and carry them away. A loose dryer vent gets pointed out so you can fix it before the new machine arrives.
- 03
Ranges, ovens and dishwashers
Electric ranges, wall ovens, built-in dishwashers and microwaves. Gas stoves need the line shut off and capped by a pro before our visit.
- 04
Water heaters
Tank heaters weigh a lot and usually still have water inside. Once it's drained and disconnected, we take care of carrying it out and hauling it off.
- 05
Window AC units and dehumidifiers
These small machines tend to stack up in sheds and basements. Because they hold refrigerant, they go to the same recovery sites as fridges.
- 06
Protecting floors and doorways
Corners get padding and finished floors get runners. Afterward we sweep away the years of dust and lint that collected behind the unit.
Questions about Appliance Removal?
Call(404) 737-7380Signs It's Time to Call for Appliance Removal
The new one is already delivered
The store dropped off the new unit but won't take the old one, or wants extra to do it. Now you've got two fridges and one spot.
It's been sitting in the garage for months
That backup freezer stopped working last summer and nobody's moved it. Old appliances in a hot garage can draw pests and leak oil or water onto the slab.
It smells, leaks or won't shut off
A fridge that hums all night, a washer that leaves puddles, an oven with a door that won't close. Repairs cost more than the unit is worth.
You're moving or selling
Buyers don't want a broken dryer in the laundry room. Clearing it out before photos or a walk-through makes the space look bigger.
It's too heavy to move safely
Stairs, tight turns and a few hundred pounds of steel are how backs get hurt. Let us do the lifting.
How the Job Goes
- 1
You call us
Tell us what's going and where it is in your home. We'll set up a free on-site estimate or give you a price based on what you describe.
- 2
We look and give you the price
We check the unit, the path out and any stairs. You get the number up front with no hidden fees, and nothing moves until you say yes.
- 3
We carry it out
Two of us pad the doorways, strap the appliance to a dolly and walk it out. We sweep the spot where it stood before we leave.
- 4
It goes to the right place
Working units may go to donation. Metal goes to scrap recyclers, and anything with refrigerant goes where it can be recovered.
- 5
We check back
A day or two later we call to make sure everything looks good. If there's a stain, a loose outlet cover or a water line we noticed, we'll go over it with you.
What Changes the Price
We price every job before work begins, and that number is what you pay. One washer sitting at the curb is quick. A basement of old appliances up tight stairs takes more. These are the things that make the difference.
- Number of units
- A single dryer or a whole kitchen's worth. Extra units use more truck space and time, though one trip for all of them usually costs less than several.
- Size and heft
- Lifting a mini fridge is nothing like lifting a full upright commercial freezer. The heaviest pieces can call for more crew.
- Location in the home
- At the curb, in the garage, upstairs or down in the basement. Steps and narrow turns slow the job and call for extra care.
- Refrigerant handling
- Fridges, freezers and AC units cost more to get rid of the right way, since their refrigerant must be recovered.
Appliance Removal Questions
Should I unhook the appliance before you arrive?
Yes for gas stoves, gas dryers and water heaters. Have a qualified pro shut off and cap the gas or water line ahead of time. Electric units just need to be unplugged if the outlet is within reach. If it isn't, we'll take care of it when we get there.
Will you haul an appliance that still runs?
We will. Units that work and look decent go to donation rather than scrap when we can place them. Mention it on the call so we can plan ahead.
How soon can you come out?
We offer same-day and next-day service when that week's schedule allows. Give us a call and we'll name the first open slot.
Where does the refrigerant in my old fridge go?
We never drain it on our own. Fridges and freezers go to facilities set up to recover refrigerant, so it isn't released into the air or left in a landfill.
Do you look over the area once the appliance is out?
We do. We sweep the spot and mention anything we noticed, such as worn flooring, dampness or an old water line. A call from us follows to confirm nothing got missed.
Can you haul more than the appliance?
Of course. Plenty of customers toss in an old sofa or some garage clutter. Our furniture removal and garage cleanouts pages explain that side of the work.
