Furniture Removal in Hapeville

Old sofa, broken recliner, a bed frame nobody wants. We carry it out of your home, down the stairs and into our truck, then clean up where it sat. A few days later we check in to make sure nothing got missed.

Two workers carry an old tan couch from a brick ranch house toward an open box truck, with a furniture dolly and folded blue moving blankets on the driveway

When It Makes Sense to Have Us Haul It

Some furniture is easy to drag to the curb. Most of it isn't. A sleeper sofa can weigh more than two people can comfortably lift, and a solid wood dresser fights you on every turn of the stairs. Leaving big pieces at the curb and waiting for a bulk pickup can also mean they sit out in the rain for a while.

We handle furniture removal for homeowners who want it gone in one visit. Two of us come out, take it apart if needed, protect your doorways and floors, and carry it out. You point, we lift.

We have been doing this since 2021. We are licensed and insured, so if a wall gets scuffed on the way out, that is on us, not you.

What Furniture Removal Includes

Carrying from any room

Upstairs bedrooms, finished basements, back porches. You don't need to move anything to the garage or curb first.

Taking pieces apart

We remove legs, unbolt bed frames and pull drawers so big items fit through tight doors. Sectionals get split at the brackets.

Protecting your home

We pad door frames and banisters and lay down runners on finished floors before the heavy pieces move.

Donation and recycling sorting

Furniture in good shape gets set aside for donation when a charity will take it. Metal frames and springs go to recycling where we can. The rest goes to the landfill.

Sweep-up after

Under a couch that sat for ten years there is dust, coins and lost remotes. We sweep the spot and hand you anything worth keeping.

A check-in call

After the job we follow up to ask if anything was left behind or if you found another piece you want gone. If something got missed, we come back for it.

Signs It's Time to Get Rid of That Furniture

  • Sagging cushions or broken frames

Once the frame cracks or the springs give out, repair often costs more than the piece is worth.

  • Bed bugs or mildew

Upholstery that smells musty after a humid Georgia summer, or shows signs of pests, should leave the house. We wrap it before carrying it through your home.

  • New furniture is on the way

Many stores won't haul away the old set. Clearing it out before delivery day keeps the movers from working around it.

  • Downsizing or settling an estate

A full house of furniture is a lot for family to handle. We can clear one room or every room.

  • The spare room became storage

If you walk around a chair you never sit in, that is space you could use again.

How the Job Goes

  1. 1

You call and tell us what's going

Give us a rough list. We set a time to come out and look, and the on-site estimate is free with no obligation.

  2. 2

    We price it upfront

You see the price before we lift anything. No hidden fees get added once the truck is loaded.

  3. 3

We protect, take apart and carry out

We pad the path, break down what needs it and carry each piece out. A single room usually goes quickly once the path is set.

  4. 4

We clean up and check back

We sweep the empty spots before we leave. Then we follow up with you to make sure the job is done the way you wanted.

What Goes Into the Price

The cost of hauling furniture comes down mainly to the truck space it fills and how tricky it is to get outside. We see it in person and give you a single number up front. If the job ends up smaller than expected, you pay less.

How many pieces and how big
A full bedroom set fills much more of the truck than a single loveseat. Volume matters most.
Stairs and narrow paths
Carrying from a third-floor bedroom or up a tight basement stair takes more time and care than a first-floor living room.
Breaking pieces down
Furniture that has to be unbolted or separated to clear a doorway adds labor.
How heavy and what it's made of
Solid wood, sleeper sofas and bulky cabinets or armoires call for more people.
Drop-off fees
Some disposal sites charge more for mattresses and box springs. If that's the case, you'll hear it before we start.

Furniture Removal Questions

Something not covered here? (404) 737-7380

Do I need to move the furniture outside first?

No. Leave it where it is. We carry it from whatever room it's in, including upstairs and basements. Just make sure the path is clear of pets and kids.

Will you take a mattress or box spring?

Yes. We wrap mattresses before carrying them through your home, which helps keep dust and anything living in them contained. Some disposal sites charge extra for mattresses, and we'll tell you before we start.

Can my old furniture be donated?

If it is clean and in usable shape, we try to get it to a charity that takes furniture. Torn, stained or broken pieces usually can't be donated. We'll be honest about which is which.

What happens if you damage something on the way out?

We pad door frames, banisters and floors to keep that from happening. If a scuff or ding does happen, tell us right away. We own it and make it right.

Do you take appliances with the furniture?

Yes. If you have an old washer or fridge going too, we handle that as appliance removal on the same visit. For a bigger mix of stuff, a garage cleanout or basement cleanout may fit better.

Why should I pick you?

We have over 1,200 Google reviews from customers who've had us out. We price it upfront, clean up after and call you back to make sure nothing was missed.

Ready to Get That Couch Out?

Tell us what's going and we'll come take a look. You get a firm price before anything moves, and we check back once it's done.
